At the upcoming OX7 (May 15-17, 2024 in Chicago), CredSpark and Omeda will be making an exciting announcement on the future of their partnership and integration of their platforms.

In the spirit of OX7’s idea exchange, we thought we share how a few innovators in media and publishing are using the CredSpark-Omeda integration to drive impressive results and outcomes in everything from sponsored content and advertiser engagement to audience data and personalization. Let’s take a look…

Questex + Omeda + CredSpark

Josee Archer is the Director of Audience Development & Marketing for Questex, a leading information and events company focused on the experience economy.

Josee, can you give us an example of how Questex is using the CredSpark-Omeda integration to achieve a specific business objective?

One of the most imporant goals for Questex is to attract new audience and capture their contact information. Because we create communities around specific topics and interests, it’s important for us to quickly know who a new audience member is; find out how to categorize them; and understand what their preferred method of connecting with us is.

We leveraged the CredSpark-Omeda integration in a unique way by creating CredSpark interactions that appear on our digital properties as “toasters” or periodic notifications as new prospects explore content. They’re intriguing, short bursts of interaction that complement what readers are already experiencing on the site and encourages them to provide a little more information to further enhance their experience with us. All that data seamlessly flows into Omeda where profiles are generated for new audience members.

For website visitors, the process is a natural extension of what they’re already doing, rather than a disruptive one. And on the backend, the CredSpark-Omeda integration does all the heavy lifting for us.

What results did you see?

Now, that’s the exciting part! We’re seeing a 65% conversion rate for the CredSpark-Omeda toaster interactions and under our form category, they have very quickly become a top source for new audience.

What do you find most useful or effective about the CredSpark-Omeda integration? What value does it provide your organization?

We love how simply we can add a CredSpark interaction to a personalization. Additionally, by “known users” in Omeda being “known” in CredSpark, we don’t have to worry about asking “known” users for their PII because we already know who they are. This has been particularly helpful with filling in data gaps for some of our most common fields.
